As you know, the Paris Haute Couture is all about fantasy. Kinds of models present the creation by designers for luxury brands in the runway. It is trend-setting and used loosely to describe all high-fashion custom-fitted clothing. Here I collect some pics, and consider them as the most iconic ones in the runway.
The Longist Tail: Chanel
Karl Lagerfeld often sets one or two important elements in the show. He just takes advantage of them again and again, and makes deep exploration, and then almost nobody could rival him in this respect. This time, the long lush ponytails in the back and the fabulous water wave veins are the keys.Inspired from the 1920s, the lightsome long tails can perfectly elongate the body line, and express the delicate appearance at the same time. The Most Practical: Armani Privé
It seems that the word practical is not a praise for Haute Couture. While, here I really want to give high praise to Armani, the most favorable brand in red carpet. No matter how exclusive the clothes are, they are still clothes for wearing. Thus the brand really takes special care to the delicate cut, perfect craftsmanship and nnbreakable taste. Those are the original aim for the custom-fitted.
The Most Traditional: Christian Dior
As always, Christian Dior left it to the House of Dior to put on a magical couture show. Everything is just perfect — the clothes, the intimate set, the amazing music and of course, models with bone-chilling.
The Most Impressive Behind-the-scenes Photographs: Christian Dior
Christian Dior handbags are also my favorite.
The Most Metallic: Givenchy
After viewing the fall 2009 couture collection Givenchy presented, I was intrigued by the Middle Eastern inspired hardware that one of the models wore down the runway. I love the idea of double-duty jewelry that act as both a bracelet and ring or necklace and earrings. While, I’m greatly surprised by the paillettes pasted on the face.
Givenchy handbags are unique and fabulous as well.
